Destination Weddings in Greece

Greece offers far more than one idea of a destination wedding.

Hollywed is a destination wedding planner in Greece, creating considered celebrations for international couples across Crete, the Cyclades and the Athens Riviera.

A celebration in Crete can unfold across several days, moving between a private estate, a small chapel and the sea. Paros offers a quieter Cycladic rhythm. The Athens Riviera combines city access with a coastal setting. Santorini is defined by landscape and scale, while Mykonos brings a more social, energetic character.

The destination should do more than provide a beautiful background.

It shapes how guests arrive, where they stay, how the weekend moves, what kind of ceremony is possible and how much production the venue will require.

At Hollywed, we approach weddings in Greece through place first — understanding the geography, hospitality, guest experience and practical realities before developing the design around them.

THE APPROACH

The destination is not the theme.

A wedding in Greece does not need to rely on obvious Mediterranean references to feel connected to its setting.

We look instead at what is already there: the architecture, landscape, light, scale and rhythm of the property. From there, the celebration is built around the couple and the way they want their guests to experience the place.

For international weddings, that also means considering what photographs rarely show — airport access, accommodation strategy, transportation, ceremony requirements, venue restrictions and the movement between each event.

A strong destination wedding should feel completely at ease in its location.
